Born and raised in San Diego, California, Chelsea Adair proudly represents the fourth generation of
Adair lady business owners, passionate about beauty and self-care. Her great grandmother started her
salon Maxine’s Backdoor in 1929 to tremendous success; followed by her grandmother and mother.
Chelsea knew her passion lay in caring for others, she originally studied at nursing school but felt her
destiny calling her. She quit nursing school and switched to beauty school. From the very first moment
she had a pair of scissors in her hand, she knew she found her calling.
A mother of 4, she deals every day with owning and managing a flourishing business while raising a
family and educating her children. Salon Adair opened its doors in 2012, and since that day Chelsea has
been committed to constantly growing, learning cutting edge techniques, and building her name in the
world of hair and beauty. In 2015, she signed up for the Vidal Sassoon Master Classes to learn creative
and fashion color so her clients could have true transformations. Now Vidal Sassoon certified stylist
and a certified makeup artist, she was mentioned by Matrix as one of the top 8 hairstylists in the US for
creative color.
From clothing, to music, to producing massive events, Brandon always had a foot in the door of the
entertainment business. He worked with the legendary Los Angeles stylist Cosmo Lombino at the
Cosmos GlamSquad boutique. A great networker, Brandon had the opportunity to collaborate and style
celebrities such as; Kanye West, Lizzo, Katy Perry, Nikki Minaj, and many more. Perpetually working
with his talents, he worked alongside Chelsea and organized the world-famous festival Coachella.
Today, he is collaboratively raising a family with Chelsea while trying to make their shared dream of
beauty and entertainment a reality. Being the Creative Director of Salon Adair means being able to
understand Chelsea’s vision and needs and turn them into a reality.
